Fall 2026

Curated
Issue Introduction

One of the great things about Latinx literature is that while stories are well situated on the page (or screen), it is often best experienced when read aloud. As these stories demonstrate, our Latin/Indigenous/African roots continue to influence how we write, particularly when it comes to rhythm and pitch. Often, stories feel as if they could be sung as well as read.  If you have the time, we strongly suggest you try reading them aloud.

Editor's Note

As per usual, we have a variety of stories for you this issue. Some are well beyond our normal day to day lives, others are deep in the pool of reality. We very much enjoyed reading these stories as they were submitted to us and hope you find them similarly interesting.
