Independent. Issue-based. Editor-led.
LatineLit is an independent quarterly literary magazine publishing original fiction by and about Latinx communities across the Americas. Founded in 2021, the magazine operates outside university and institutional systems, allowing it to remain editorially independent and issue-based.
In addition to its quarterly issues, LatineLit curates a monthly Latinx Bestseller List to promote contemporary Latinx authors and literature.
Latinx Bestseller List
The Latinx Bestseller List is a monthly snapshot of the most visible adult fiction titles by Latinx authors published within the past year. Curated independently, the list highlights current books gaining traction while making space for emerging voices that are often overlooked by mainstream bestseller rankings.
Winter 2026 gathers a collection of original fiction shaped by questions of endurance, identity, and cultural presence in a moment marked by uncertainty. Across genres and styles, these stories reflect the range, imagination, and literary craft of contemporary Latinx writers—engaging history, memory, belonging, and the pressures of the present with clarity and depth.
Contributors to this issue include:
Carmen Baca, Ignasi del Mont, Scótt Russell Dúncan, Jason Escareno, Elizabeth Muñoz, José Muñoz, L. Roan, Martin A. Ramos, and Enrique C. Varela
